Glass bottle – blue dispensing container with special smoky top is a professional packaging solution designed for precise and hygienic dispensing of creamy, gel‑based and more viscous liquid formulations. Thanks to the high‑quality glass and the integrated dispensing mechanism, it is suitable for filling products where protection of the contents, controlled dosing and a representative appearance of the finished product are important.
Glass is a material with high chemical stability, commonly used for cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations. The design of the dispensing bottle minimizes contact of the contents with air and with the user’s hands, thereby helping to preserve the quality, consistency and sensory properties of the stored product.
This glass bottle is a standalone container that is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected product parameters. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, sprays or practical applicators, making it possible to tailor the dispensing method to the specific formulation and type of use.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, active substances, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new batch of product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the Handymade range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, allow the bottle to dry completely and only then refill it.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, vials or dispensing containers), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. In it you can combine various criteria – tailoring the selection according to neck type, size, colour and packaging material. In this way you quickly narrow down the range to containers that are most suitable for your formulation and visual brand concept.
This type of glass dispensing bottle is particularly suitable for creamy and gel cosmetic products where a precise dose and hygienic application are important – for example face creams, serums, treatment gels, products for sensitive zones or concentrated preparations with active substances. When selecting a specific bottle and dispensing system, it is always important to take into account the viscosity and composition of your formulation and to test the dispensing performance accordingly.
Before re‑use we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically – removing the residues of the original product using warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then rinse the container thoroughly with potable water and allow it to dry. After drying it is advisable to disinfect the bottle with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, allow the container to dry completely in a clean, dust‑free place and only then proceed with filling the new formulation.
If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is generally placed in separated glass collection; it is advisable to remove any remaining contents and to separate any plastic or metal parts of the closure, which belong in the respective containers according to their material. Specific recycling recommendations can be found in the parameter table of the given container on the product page, so that you can dispose of the packaging as gently as possible towards the environment.
The most reliable procedure is to carry out your own compatibility test before finally adopting the packaging for sale. We recommend filling a small amount of your formula into the bottle, closing it with the chosen dispensing system and observing its behaviour over several weeks – the sealing of the closure, smoothness of dispensing, changes in scent, colour or consistency and any deposition of components on the walls. In this way you can verify that the packaging suits your formulation in terms of functionality, stability and the overall impression during use.
