The glass bottle represents a professional and reliable packaging solution designed primarily for packaging cosmetic products, serums, oils and other liquid formulations where protection of the composition and precise dosing are important. The robust pharmaceutical glass ensures high chemical resistance, minimal interaction with the contents and stability even during long-term storage, which makes the bottle suitable for liquid and slightly viscous products. Dark (colored) glass also helps protect sensitive ingredients from light, thereby supporting their stability throughout the entire period of use.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected when ordering. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for targeted application. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific category (for example bottles, jars or pots). In the advanced filter you can conveniently sort the packaging according to parameters such as neck type, size, color or material. In this way you can quickly choose a bottle or another container that will best suit the composition and method of use of your product.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to clean the bottle thoroughly, check the integrity of the glass and the thread and then disinfect it with a suitable agent. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based, which help to reduce the microbial load before reuse.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of oils or emulsions. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water and leave it to dry upside down in a clean, well-ventilated place. Before the next filling, it is advisable to disinfect the glass – for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol – and only then reuse it. In the case of long-term or intensive use, also check the condition of the closure or dispenser and replace it if it shows signs of wear.
The glass dropper bottle is ideal for products where protection of sensitive active substances and precise dosing of a small amount of preparation are important. In practice, it is most often used for facial and oil serums, concentrated active blends, plant oils, aromatherapy blends, facial boosters and test samples of new formulations. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is also suitable for travel or for professional cosmetic kits.
It is advisable to adapt the type of closure to the consistency and method of use of your product. For liquid serums and oils, droppers or pipettes are practical, as they allow very precise dosing. For toners or water-based products, spray pumps are popular, while screw caps are suitable where you do not need fine dosing but prefer simple closing. When choosing, follow the neck parameters listed for the product and we always recommend performing your own compatibility test with the specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and basic cleaning you recycle it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle usually belongs in the glass recycling container, while plastic or metal parts of the closure or dispenser are sorted separately according to their material. Before placing it in the appropriate container, remove any product residues and, if possible, separate the individual components of the packaging. In this way you will support efficient recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
