The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid preparations, ideal especially for concentrated formulations and smaller doses. The durable glass combined with the dropper closure enables convenient and controlled dispensing, thereby reducing the risk of waste and contamination of the contents.
This type of packaging is popular for filling cosmetic serums, oil blends and other liquid products where application accuracy and a professional appearance are important. The glass container is also suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to external influences, while ensuring stability and long-term quality of the contents when stored correctly.
The glass bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, both the bottle and the dropper part must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the new filling.
First, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic packaging, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, the internal surfaces must be disinfected with alcohol, for example with the preparation IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured. Apply the disinfectant also to the dropper part and the rubber components, making sure that they are completely dry before reuse.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations. After a rough rinse, place the glass part of the packaging into the glass container designated by your municipality. Sort the closure with dropper and any plastic components separately according to the material indicated in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Before placing them into separate collection, it is advisable to remove product residues to facilitate the recycling process.
The dropper bottle is most suitable for preparations that are applied in small amounts or drop by drop, such as facial and eye serums, oil concentrates, intensive care oils, aromatherapy blends or test formulations with a higher content of active ingredients. Thanks to precise dosing, it is ideal wherever it is important to prevent overdosing of the product and at the same time maintain the highest possible level of hygiene during use.
