The glass bottle with a transparent body and a black ribbed safety cap represents a professional container suitable for precise dosing of various liquid preparations. High-quality clear glass allows for visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for both cosmetic and technical formulations, while the safety closure with a locking feature helps minimize unintended opening or leakage of the product. This type of medicine bottle is ideal for liquid and slightly viscous formulations that require accurate pouring or dosing in smaller quantities.
Thanks to the precise finish of the neck and the high-quality closure, the container is suitable for stable storage of serums, essential oils, tinctures, concentrates and other more sensitive blends. The transparent glass is practical when testing new formulations, checking clarity, colour and any sediment, which is important in both artisan and semi-professional production. The container is designed to fit into the visual and functional line of products manufactured in small and medium batches.
The standalone glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the parameters selected for the product. You can combine it with screw caps, dropper inserts, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to easily adapt the use of the container to the specific product and its consistency.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dosing functionality and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (especially with a higher proportion of active ingredients, alcohol or essential oils).

The glass medicine bottle is generally suitable for most liquid preparations, including solutions containing alcohol or essential oils. However, for highly concentrated blends we always recommend carrying out your own stability test – prepare a small trial batch, fill it into the container and observe the behaviour of the contents and the sealing over time. In this way you can verify that the specific formulation is fully compatible with the container.
The container can be reused for different types of preparations, provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the container ready for new filling.
Before the first filling we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild detergent, then thoroughly rinsing with clean water so that no residues of cleaning agents remain, and letting it dry naturally or drying it with a clean, lint-free cloth. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure with an alcohol-based preparation (for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %), pour off the excess alcohol and allow the container to dry completely. A container prepared in this way is hygienically suitable for filling with more sensitive cosmetic formulations.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container can usually, after being emptied, optionally rinsed of product residues and separated from the cap, be placed in a container designated for glass. The plastic or composite cap should be sorted according to the type of plastic indicated in the description – most often into the container for plastics. Always follow the local rules for separated waste collection in your municipality or town.
