Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of various liquid formulations. Thanks to the stable glass and integrated dropper, it is ideal for packaging cosmetic serums, active concentrates, oils or tinctures where control over every single drop is important. The glass medicine bottle is popular with home cosmetic makers as well as smaller brands that are looking for aesthetic, reusable and easy-to-maintain packaging.
Glass bottles with droppers are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters, such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – in particular of the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it again to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
We recommend first mechanically cleaning the cap with dropper from residues of the original product, then rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly rinsing with water. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect both the dropper and the closure by spraying or briefly immersing them in alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002), and it is important to allow all parts to dry completely. With repeated use, always check the elasticity of the rubber part of the dropper and the tightness of the thread to ensure that the dosing functionality and reliable closure are maintained.
The dropper is most suitable for low-viscosity and medium-viscosity liquids, such as facial serums, light oils, tinctures, hydro-alcoholic solutions or essential oils diluted in a carrier oil. With very thick oils or gel textures, dripping may be slower, so it is advisable to test the drop flow in advance with the specific formula. We always recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify that the dosing corresponds to the desired method of application of your product.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can conveniently set parameters such as neck type, desired size, colour and packaging material, which significantly speeds up the search. We recommend starting from the planned dosing method and product type, and then filtering according to details to find the bottle, medicine bottle or jar that best meets your requirements.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the local waste-sorting rules indicated with the material designation in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be handed over to glass collection after removing product residues and rinsing, while the plastic components (for example the cap or some parts of the dropper) must be sorted according to their material. Before disposal, it is advisable to separate the individual parts of the packaging as much as possible so that effective recycling can take place and the impact on the environment is minimized.
