Glass bottle – transparent with nasal spray represents a professional packaging material designed for precise, hygienic and comfortable dosing of liquid preparations into the nasal cavity. Thanks to the transparent glass, it allows visual control of the contents and is suitable for both home-made and semi-professional formulations. The bottle is designed for formulations that require fine misting, a controlled dose and a stable, chemically inert container.
This type of packaging is a practical solution for liquid products where protection of the contents, precise dosing and minimisation of contact with the external environment are important. Glass as a material has been long proven for packaging cosmetic and specialised preparations and is suitable wherever a combination of high-quality packaging and comfortable application in the form of a nasal spray is needed.
This glass bottle with fitted nasal sprayer forms a complete system for applying liquids in the form of a fine spray. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure maximum reliability during long-term use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution or demineralised water) and then disinfecting it. For disinfection of the packaging, it is appropriate to use alcohol-based solutions, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In the Handymade range you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then fill it with your formulation.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using alcohol-based preparations, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. At the same time, we recommend continuously checking the condition of the nasal sprayer – in case of signs of wear or impaired dosing, it is appropriate to replace the component.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend environmentally friendly disposal in the form of recycling. After emptying and basic cleaning, the glass part of the bottle should be placed in the container intended for glass according to local recycling rules. The plastic nasal sprayer (including the tube and mechanism) is composed of several materials which are usually collected in municipal or separated waste according to local regulations. Always adapt specific recommendations for recycling to the material information given in the product parameters for this packaging and to local waste management rules.
The packaging is most suitable for liquid formulations with low to medium viscosity that need to be dosed as a fine spray into the nasal cavity. Typically these are aqueous solutions, hydrolats, physiological solutions or special nasal preparations created according to your own recipe. Mixtures that are too thick or oily can affect the quality of atomisation, therefore we always recommend performing a dosing test with a small amount of product and, if necessary, adjusting the formulation (viscosity, ratio of components) to achieve optimal dispersion.
The simplest way to select suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example glass bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or sprayers), you will find the advanced filtering option at the top of the page. Using the filter, you can select a combination of parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. In this way, you will quickly narrow down the offer to only those packaging options that correspond to your product and the intended method of use.
When filling, we recommend working in a clean environment, using suitable tools (funnel, dosing syringes or measuring cups) and minimising the time during which the bottle remains open. Before filling, the packaging must be clean and disinfected, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After filling, close the bottle immediately with the nasal sprayer, check the tightness by gently turning it upside down and perform several test actuations to verify smooth and even dosing.
