The glass bottle with green glass and white-gold dropper is a professional packaging intended for precise dosing of liquid formulations in cosmetics as well as in the field of home production. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a practical dropper, it enables hygienic, controlled and repeatable dosing without unnecessary product loss. The coloured glass helps protect sensitive components from light and contributes to longer stability of active ingredients, which is ideal especially for serums, oils and concentrated extracts.
The glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the Handymade.sk offer. It is possible to use screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, which turn the bottle into a functional and ergonomic packaging for a specific type of product. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Glass is generally a very stable and inert material, therefore this bottle is suitable for most formulations containing alcohol, hydrolates, active ingredients and vegetable oils. For very specific or highly concentrated components, we always recommend testing a small trial dose over time in order to verify the behaviour of the product in contact with the packaging and the dropper.
The bottle can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and the influence of the new formulation by residues of the previous product.
First we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle and the individual parts of the dropper with warm water and dish detergent in order to remove residues of oils or other components. Then rinse them thoroughly with clean water and allow them to dry. Before new filling, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surfaces with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and let them completely air out and dry.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as listed in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the dropper may contain a combination of plastic, metal and rubber and must be handled in accordance with local recycling regulations. Before handing it over to sorted waste, we recommend rinsing the packaging from product residues to facilitate its processing in the recycling process.
