The glass bottle with screw thread and dropper is designed as a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid formulations, ideal for home as well as artisan cosmetic projects. The dark glass helps reduce light penetration to the sensitive contents, thereby contributing to its good stability during storage. In combination with the dropper, this bottle is suitable for packaging preparations where controlled dropwise dosing or dosing in smaller amounts is important.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent or distilled water) and then disinfecting it. For disinfection of the packaging, it is appropriate to use alcohol-based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in technical grade intended for this purpose – in our offer you will find for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging and the dropper to dry thoroughly in a clean environment.
The glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure with dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using alcohol-based disinfectants such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. We recommend repeated use only if the glass is in perfect condition (without cracks or chipped parts) and the dropper is functional.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass bottle is usually sorted into the container designated for glass. The dropper consists of several parts (glass, plastic, possibly rubber) – we recommend separating them where possible and sorting them separately according to the type of material, as indicated in the recycling information in the product parameter table. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and the dropper and remove any product residues.
The bottle with dropper is ideal for products that require precise or dropwise dosing – for example face and body oils, intensive serums, active concentrates, oil perfumes, aromatherapy blends, liquid extracts intended for cosmetic use and test samples. For very viscous or gel formulations, we recommend considering another type of applicator (a pump or another form of dosing) depending on the behaviour of the specific recipe.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. Using it, you can clearly filter the packaging according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. In this way, you will quickly find packaging that will best suit the specific product and the chosen dosing method.
