The glass bottle with aluminium closure represents a professional packaging solution designed for the safe packing of liquid and partially viscous products. The transparent glass allows good visual control of the contents, which you will appreciate for products where colour, clarity and the presentation itself are important. In combination with a quality closure, the bottle provides reliable protection against soiling, leakage of the contents and undesirable contamination during storage and use.
The glass packaging is suitable for cosmetic, technical and artisanal formulations where stability, resistance to commonly used components and the possibility of repeated use are required. Thanks to the solid glass wall and the precisely fitting cap, the packaging is ideal for filling smaller product batches, test packs or samples.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, suitable dosage, thread stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation throughout the entire intended period of product use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling and without visible damage. With every new filling, however, it is essential to follow basic hygiene principles – clean the bottle thoroughly, rinse it and disinfect it before refilling. For disinfection, we recommend using alcohol-based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in cosmetic grade, which you can find in the Handymade range. Suitable products are IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and denatured ethanol of plant origin, and the disinfection also applies to the internal surface of the packaging and the thread.
Before reuse, we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically – removing residues of the original product, and if necessary rinsing it with warm water and a suitable detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the interior and the neck of the bottle with an alcohol-based preparation. For this purpose, you can use for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or ethanol of plant origin from the Handymade range, in order to minimise the microbial risk before refilling. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly, ideally at room temperature in a clean environment.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually sorted into the container designated for glass (information pictograms can be found in the parameter table for the product). Before throwing it in, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents and to sort the separate closure according to its material into the appropriate waste (most often metal or mixed plastic packaging). Always follow local waste-sorting rules so that recycling is as effective as possible.
The glass bottle is particularly suitable for liquid formulations such as toners, watery solutions, extracts and oil blends, as well as for lighter emulsions. The stable glass material is often preferred for products containing volatile components (for example perfume compositions) or substances for which glass is preferred over plastic. We always recommend carrying out your own stability tests – checking the behaviour of the formulation in the packaging, any changes in colour, odour or viscosity, and also compatibility with the type of closure or dispenser used.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter, which is available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the extended filter you can conveniently set parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material, which allows you to quickly narrow the range down to only the relevant options. In this way, you will find suitable bottles, jars, pots, pumps or spray heads adapted to the specific product and the preferred design.
