The glass vial with black lid is a practical container for clean and safe packaging of liquid products where material stability, hygiene and reliable closure are crucial. The glass is material-neutral, which makes it suitable for more sensitive formulations - without undesirable effects on the smell or composition of the contents. The dark glass design naturally reduces light transmission and helps protect the contents from UV rays, which is especially appreciated for oils, extracts and active ingredients. The product parameters also indicate food grade, so the packaging is also suitable for selected products intended for internal use.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation). Yes. The product parameters state food grade, so the packaging is also suitable for tinctures, extracts and liquid nutritional supplements intended for internal use. When filling, we recommend hygiene, proper sealing and storage according to the requirements of the specific contents.
Yes. Dark glass naturally reduces light transmission and thus helps protect more sensitive ingredients from UV rays. For product stability, we recommend storing the packaging out of direct sunlight and always closing it tightly.
Yes, the packaging can be reused as long as hygiene guidelines are followed. Before each refill, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002) - for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or Ethanol 96%. Allow the packaging to dry completely before filling.
We recommend doing your own compatibility test: fill the bottle, cap it, let it sit in different positions and check the seal, any leakage and the behaviour of the contents in normal use. Viscosity, alcohol, essential oil or active ingredient content may be important.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Rinse the glass bottle and dispose of it in a glass container once the contents have been consumed. Separate the black cap from the bottle and dispose of it in the sorted plastics waste bin according to local rules. Separating the parts will make recycling easier and reduce the proportion of mixed waste.
