The glass bottle – square pharmacy bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of various cosmetic and galenic preparations. The square shape makes both storage and labelling easier, and the high‑quality glass helps protect the product composition throughout the entire period of use.
This type of pharmacy bottle is ideal for liquid and slightly viscous formulations where the cleanliness of the packaging, material stability and the possibility of reliable closure are important. Thanks to the durable glass, the bottle is suitable for products with active ingredients that require a stable environment without undesirable interactions with the packaging.
The standalone glass pharmacy bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems depending on the selected product parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for targeted application. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of reliably long‑term use.

Yes, the small glass bottle can be used repeatedly in home and small‑scale artisan production, provided it is not mechanically damaged and you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each refill, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready for further use.
First, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the previous contents. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water, allow it to drain and dry completely. After drying, disinfect the interior with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, and again allow it to air out. Only then is the packaging ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the glass pharmacy bottle, we recommend that after emptying it you remove any remaining contents and rinse it appropriately according to the type of product. Then separate any plastic or metal closures and place them in the appropriate collection containers according to local waste‑sorting rules. The glass packaging itself belongs in the container designated for glass, in line with the recycling recommendations given for the product in the parameter table on the Handymade.sk website. In this way you ensure that the packaging is handled in an environmentally considerate manner even after the end of its service life.
Glass pharmacy bottles are generally suitable for most liquid cosmetic and galenic preparations, such as toners, serums, solutions or tinctures intended for external use. For very specific or extremely reactive formulations, however, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller volume, monitor any changes in colour, odour or consistency and also check the functionality of the selected closure or dropper.
