The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for concentrated cosmetic preparations, serums, oils and the precise dosing of liquids. In combination with the glass dropper, it enables hygienic and controlled withdrawal of the contents, which is ideal for formulations with higher value and a need for accurate dosing.
The darker-coloured glass helps to reduce the penetration of light to sensitive components of the formulas, thereby contributing to longer stability and quality of the stored product. Thanks to the durable glass and high-quality closure, the bottle is suitable for various types of liquid preparations that require protection from external influences and convenient dropwise dosing.
This packaging is supplied as a combination bottle + dropper, with the individual components functionally matched to each other. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Before filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then thoroughly disinfecting them. In practice, rinsing and spraying with a suitable alcoholic disinfectant preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, has proven effective. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially in the case of home cosmetics production or trial batches of products. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, including the dropper, and then disinfect it, for example using the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Always adapt repeated use to the character and sensitivity of your specific formulation.
Store products in the bottle ideally in a dry, clean place, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Always close the bottle tightly with the dropper to minimise contact with the surrounding air and dust. For formulations with increased sensitivity to light or heat, we recommend storage in a closed cabinet or drawer and checking the product’s minimum durability date.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste separation rules. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass bottle in the glass container according to its colour. The dropper consists of several materials (glass, plastic and possibly rubber parts); it is advisable to separate the individual components and sort them according to locally available options for collecting plastic, glass or mixed waste. The specifically recommended method of recycling is also governed by the material composition specified in the product parameters for the given packaging.

Dropper dosing is ideal for concentrated and high-value formulations where precise application of a small amount of product is important. Typically, these are oil and emulsion serums, dry oils, active oil complexes, aromatherapeutic blends, perfume oils or test solutions. For formulations that are too viscous or, on the contrary, very thin and volatile, we recommend carrying out a trial filling before mass production and verifying the dosing comfort through the dropper.
