The glass bottle with screw thread and safety cap represents a reliable packaging for various liquid and fluid formulations that require precise dosing and safe closure. Durable glass helps protect the contents from external influences, while the solid closure with safety feature reduces the risk of unintended opening during storage as well as transport. This type of bottle is particularly suitable for products for which clean, stable and professional packaging is important.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing accuracy, thread stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for packaging various concentrates, serums and aromatic blends for which the stability and cleanliness of the packaging are important. From the perspective of standard formulations, glass is a very well tolerated material, while the safety cap helps prevent unintended opening. For highly concentrated or atypical blends we recommend performing your own compatibility test and monitoring any changes in fragrance, colour or consistency of the product during storage.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and then disinfect it, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the bottle dry completely, check the integrity of the thread and the cap, and only then refill it. When changing the type of product (for example from oil-based to water-based) we recommend paying particularly close attention to cleaning and rinsing.
Before repeated use we recommend first mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable residual solvent (for example oil for oil-based blends or water for aqueous solutions), then washing it with warm water and a mild cleaning agent and rinsing well. After washing it is necessary to disinfect the packaging – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from the Handymade range – and let it dry naturally. For caps we recommend focusing on the thread and the sealing insert to ensure no residues of the original product remain.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging can, after basic rinsing of product residues, be placed in a container designated for glass. The cap is usually made of plastic, so it is appropriate to recycle it separately according to local rules for plastic waste collection. Always follow the material labelling in the parameter table for the given product on the Handymade website and the recommendations of your local collection system.
To select suitable packaging you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the packaging, the colour of the glass or plastic and the material used. In this way you can quickly narrow the selection down to only those packages that meet the required parameters of your product and the planned dosing method.
