Is it possible to use this glass bottle safely on a repeated basis?

Yes, the glass packaging can be safely reused with proper handling. However, with each refilling it is essential to observe basic hygiene principles – thoroughly clean the bottle and cap mechanically, rinse them, and then disinfect with a suitable alcohol solution. For disinfection we recommend using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for refilling.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before refilling?

First remove any residues of the original product and rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then rinse with clean water so that no detergent residues remain inside. After drying, disinfect the inner surface with alcohol – ideally using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act and then let the bottle and closure dry completely at room temperature so that moisture does not accumulate in the packaging.

How can I determine whether this bottle is suitable for my specific formulation?

When choosing packaging, it is always important to take into account the composition of the product – in particular the content of alcohol, oils, acids, bases and preservatives. We recommend first preparing a smaller test batch, filling it into the bottle and monitoring the behaviour of the product and packaging over several weeks (change in colour, odour, possible release of particles from the closure, leakage during handling, etc.). In this way you can verify real compatibility and stability before starting larger-scale production.

How should the bottle be properly recycled if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is appropriate to dispose of it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. Before discarding, remove product residues from the glass container and place it in the container designated for glass according to local waste sorting rules. Sort the metal aluminum closure separately in accordance with the local metal collection system. By following these steps, you will support effective recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
