The glass vial with black sprayer represents a practical and aesthetic solution for packaging and dispensing various liquid preparations, especially in cosmetics and home production. Thanks to the precise mechanical sprayer, it is suitable for products where gentle, even application to the skin, hair or surfaces is important. The transparent glass allows for easy visual control of the contents and their clarity, while the material is stable and suitable even for formulations containing alcohol or other active substances. This type of packaging is ideal for creators of natural cosmetics, small brands, artisan production and home enthusiasts who are looking for professional-looking, reusable packaging.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil phase, etc.). When selecting suitable accessories, we recommend using the filters in the relevant packaging category or consulting the recommended combinations directly on the product pages in the e‑shop.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle and the sprayer, allowing them to dry and then disinfecting with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. In this way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on the stability of your formulations.
The glass container should first be rinsed with a residual solvent compatible with the original contents (e.g. water or alcohol), then washed with a mild cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsed and allowed to dry completely. Before refilling we recommend disinfecting the packaging – for example by rinsing or spraying with an alcohol-based preparation such as IPA 99 or ethanol 96 denatured. The sprayer itself should be rinsed with clean water or a thin alcohol solution and actuated several times so that the system is flushed through.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle usually needs to be placed in the container designated for sorted glass waste, while the plastic and any metal components of the sprayer belong in plastic collection or municipal waste according to local rules. Before disposal, empty the bottle and sprayer as completely as possible and, if necessary, rinse them to minimise product residues in the waste.
To select suitable packaging we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a particular packaging category. With the filters you can sort products according to parameters such as type and neck diameter, overall size of the packaging, colour of the glass or plastic and material. By combining these criteria you can quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that best matches your formulation and the desired dosing method.
Glass is generally a very stable packaging material that is also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils. However, when using the sprayer, we recommend testing the specific recipe in a smaller quantity – check the smoothness of spraying, sealing and whether there are any changes in the mechanism’s functionality over time. With a high proportion of oil phase or higher viscosity it may be necessary to choose a different type of dispenser or adjust the composition of the product.
