The glass bottle with spray pump is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid formulations where precise and gentle dosing in the form of a spray is important. The transparent glass allows good visual control of the contents and their quantity, which will be appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetics, household chemicals, as well as creators of smaller artisan batches.
Thanks to the high-quality glass and functional spray pump, the bottle is suitable for liquid products with low to medium viscosity, where even distribution on the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles is required. The glass material is particularly popular for formulations containing plant extracts, hydrolats or aromatic components, where stability and minimisation of interaction between the packaging and the contents are important.
This glass bottle is supplied with a functional spray pump and is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected in the online shop. It can be matched with screw caps, droppers, alternative spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing easy customisation for the specific product type.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular regarding sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, and this before starting serial production.

The bottle can be safely reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In the Handymade range you will find suitable disinfectant solutions such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, which help ensure a high level of cleanliness before reusing the packaging.
Before refilling, we recommend disassembling the bottle and spray pump into the accessible parts, rinsing them with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing them to dry completely. Afterwards it is advisable to disinfect all parts using an alcohol solution (e.g. products based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from the Handymade range), and it is important to allow the disinfectant to evaporate before refilling. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of the filled product.
The transparent glass bottle with spray pump is ideal for liquid preparations where fine, even atomisation is required – for example facial and body sprays, floral waters, hair tonics, air fresheners, fabric sprays or natural repellents. The suitability of use also depends on the specific formula; for formulations with a higher oil content or thicker consistency, it is always advisable to test whether the spray pump provides the desired type and intensity of dosing.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend placing it in separated collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container can generally be placed in the glass recycling bin after removing product residues and separating the plastic parts of the spray pump. The spray pump itself (head, tube) is usually classified as a plastic component and should be sorted in accordance with local rules for plastic recycling. When recycling, always follow the symbols and recommendations provided for the specific packaging on the Handymade website and the local waste regulations.
