Can this glass bottle be reused?

Yes, this container can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetal. Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for refilling, which minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and an impact on the product’s stability.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned before first use?

Before first use, we recommend visually inspecting the bottle, rinsing it with suitable clean water or according to your internal hygiene procedures, and then disinfecting it with alcohol (e.g. the products ALK001 or ALK002). After disinfection, allow the inside of the bottle and the closure to dry thoroughly in a clean and dust-free place. Only then should you fill the container, so that no residual moisture or impurities are transferred into the final product.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass part of the bottle in the appropriate glass container according to local waste sorting rules. It is advisable to separate the metal cap and any plastic inserts and sort them separately according to the material marking on the packaging.
