Glass bottle with dropper is a practical packaging solution for precise dosing of cosmetic and professional formulations for both home and professional use. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the white dropper, it allows comfortable and hygienic dispensing of small amounts of product, which is especially ideal for concentrated ingredients, serums or aromatherapeutic blends. The dark glass also helps protect sensitive ingredients from light, thus supporting the stability and longer shelf life of the contents.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly when correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol in technical pure quality or ethanol for cosmetic use. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed to refilling it.
It is best to take the dropper apart into its individual parts (pipette, rubber part and possibly plastic thread) and rinse them manually with a suitable cleaning solution according to the type of product previously used. We then recommend rinsing with clean water and disinfecting with an alcohol-based preparation. After disinfection, all parts must be left to dry naturally at room temperature so that no water residues remain in the dropper that could affect the consistency or stability of the new product.
The glass packaging is generally very stable and suitable for formulations containing essential oils, plant oils and also for products with a lower pH, such as tonics and chemical exfoliating serums. Nevertheless, we always recommend testing the specific recipe in a small trial batch, checking the behaviour of the dropper material in contact with the formulation and verifying the sealing during short-term storage so that you can be sure that the given combination is optimal for your product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend putting it into sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle should be emptied, any product residues wiped off and then placed in the glass collection container. The remaining parts of the dropper (rubber and plastic part) must be sorted according to local waste separation rules – they usually go into plastic collection or mixed waste if the local system does not allow more detailed sorting. When disposing of it, follow local recommendations and the information on the labels or in the product parameters on Handymade.
To select a suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter which is located in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the extended filter it is possible to set parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging, thanks to which you quickly narrow the offer down to options suitable for your specific product. We also recommend following related products and suggested closures which are compatible and tested with the given type of container.
