Thanks to this, you will quickly select packaging that matches both your specific formulation and your design concept.

Is it possible to use this glass bottle safely on a repeated basis?

The glass bottle and the aluminium cap can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is essential to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or Ethanol 96 denatured plant-based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Only after the packaging has completely dried is the bottle ready to be refilled.

How should I clean the glass bottle and aluminium cap before reuse?

Before reuse, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly removing all residues of the original contents. Then let the glass dry and disinfect the packaging – for example using IPA 99 or ethanol 96, which are available in the Handymade range. Clean the cap gently so as not to damage the thread or the seal. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in a clean, dust-free place.

For what type of products is this glass packaging most suitable in terms of material stability?

The glass bottle with aluminium closure is particularly suitable for oil-based and aqueous solutions, perfumed blends, toners, serums or aromatherapeutic preparations, where stability and minimal interaction of the packaging with the contents are important. Glass is chemically inert and in most cases does not change the fragrance, colour or consistency of the product. For very specific or highly concentrated formulations, however, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test in the chosen type of packaging.

How can I correctly dispose of or recycle this glass bottle after use?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with the material designation indicated in the product parameters. The glass bottle should be emptied, ideally rinsed of any remaining contents and then sorted into the container designated for glass according to local regulations. Sort the aluminium closure according to the instructions for metal packaging, or according to the recommendations of your waste collection company. Correct sorting helps to reduce the amount of waste and enables the material to be used again.
