The glass bottle with dispenser represents an elegant and reliable packaging for products where controlled and hygienic dosing is important. It is suitable for filling liquid cosmetic preparations as well as other formulations for which you will appreciate precise pumping without excessive product consumption. The dark glass also helps protect the more sensitive contents from light, which contributes to longer stability and preservation of the quality of the contents.
This product represents a combination of glass bottle and dispenser, which is created on Handymade as a ready-made, mutually adapted solution. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in terms of sealing, dosing, long-term stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

Yes, the glass bottle is also suitable for more sensitive cosmetic products such as serums, oils or emulsions containing active substances. The dark glass helps protect the composition from light, which is advantageous especially for formulations with oxidisable components. Nevertheless, we always recommend performing your own stability test of the specific product in the chosen packaging.
The packaging can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the quality of the newly prepared product.
Before reuse, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing it with clean water and allowing it to dry. It is then appropriate to spray or rinse the inside of the packaging and the accessible parts of the dispenser with alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or denatured ethanol. Before refilling, make sure that all parts are dry and free of residues of the previous product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be sorted into the appropriate glass container, while the plastic dispenser and any metal parts should be sorted separately according to local regulations. Before handing it over for recycling, empty the packaging and remove any product residues to facilitate its further processing.
