Can this glass bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be reused if proper hygiene procedures are followed, especially when making your own cosmetics or refilling the same type of product. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle and disinfect it thoroughly in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol-based preparations, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant origin, and allowing the packaging to dry completely before refilling.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and prepared before first use?

Before first use we recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing it with drinking water and afterwards with distilled or demineralised water to remove any residues. After washing, it is appropriate to disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution (for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% plant-based ethanol) and let it air dry at room temperature. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready to be filled with the final product.

How should this glass bottle and dropper be properly recycled if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you recycle it according to the material types given in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while the dropper may be a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal). In such a case, it is ideal to separate as many parts as possible and sort them according to local waste collection rules; small composite parts that cannot be disassembled usually belong in mixed waste. When recycling, always follow local recommendations for sorting and the material data in the product parameters table.
