Yes, the bottle can be safely used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and sprayer in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or residues of the previous formulation. For disinfection you can use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný, which you can find in the Handymade.sk range at /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After disinfection, allow the bottle and sprayer to dry thoroughly and only then refill them with a new product.

We recommend first rinsing the glass part of the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and finally disinfecting with an alcohol solution (for example IPA 99 or Etanol 96 % rastlinný). Clean the sprayer by filling it with a small amount of clean water or alcohol solution and spraying several times so that the entire internal mechanism is flushed through. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry freely in a clean, dust-free place. Only after complete drying is the bottle ready to be filled again with a new product.

This packaging is ideal especially for liquid products with low to medium viscosity that need to be applied in the form of a fine spray. Typically, these are facial and body toners, flower waters, hair sprays, air fresheners, textile or home sprays and disinfectant solutions intended for external use. Due to the construction of the sprayer, it is not suitable for thick emulsions, gels or oils with very high viscosity, which could clog the nozzle and impair dosing.

If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material type indicated in the product parameters on Handymade.sk. The glass body of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the plastic and metal parts of the sprayer may belong in plastic collection or mixed waste according to local rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to separate the glass and the sprayer, remove product residues and follow your municipality’s or city’s recommendations for waste sorting.
