Thanks to the high-quality glass and functional spray mechanism, it is ideal for products that need to be applied as a fine mist or with precise dosing. This packaging is stable, resistant to common cosmetic formulations and suitable for liquid blends that require hygienic and repeatable dosing without contact with the hands.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable agent. For disinfecting the packaging, it is ideal to use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find, for example, as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after all parts of the packaging have completely dried is it suitable to refill the bottle.
The inside of the glass bottle should first be rinsed with warm water and a mild detergent and then thoroughly rinsed with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. The spray pump should be flushed with clean water and, by briefly spraying, the residues of the previous product should be removed; during disinfection it is necessary to ensure that the disinfectant also reaches the inside of the dip tube and mechanism.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it should be recycled according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can, after removing any product residues and labels, be placed in sorted glass waste, while the plastic spray pump must be sorted according to the type of plastic listed in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade website. Before disposal, we recommend emptying the packaging and minimizing product residues in order to simplify recycling processing.
The spray pump is ideal for thin to medium-viscosity formulations that are intended to create a fine mist or an even film on the skin, hair or surfaces. This includes, for example, facial and body toners, moisturizing and refreshing sprays, hair sprays, aromatherapeutic mist blends or cleaning solutions. With thicker emulsions and gel products, dosing may be less smooth, so it is advisable to test the behaviour of the specific formulation in combination with this type of mechanism before filling.
