Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the cap with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination of sensitive cosmetic preparations.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it as far as possible and removing any product residues. The glass part of the packaging is normally sorted into a glass container, while the plastic or composite cap should be placed in the appropriate container according to the material type specified in the product parameters. By following these recycling rules, you support the efficient use of raw materials and the reduction of waste volume.

When travelling, however, we recommend always tightening the bottle thoroughly, placing it in an upright position and, to be on the safe side, storing it in a resealable bag or case.
