The glass spray neck vial is a practical packaging material designed for hygienic packaging and gentle spraying of liquid products wherever clean application, controlled dosage and stability of contents during storage are important. The glass is material neutral, so it is suitable for a wide range of formulations without undesirable effects on the product's odour or properties. As it is a dark glass, the packaging naturally helps to reduce the transmission of light and UV radiation, which is advantageous for more sensitive ingredients (e.g. extracts or oils). The packaging is also food grade, making it suitable for selected products intended for internal use, provided that hygiene and good filling practices are followed.
The combinations of containers and closures, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Throat spray is particularly suitable for liquid, low-viscosity products to be applied in a fine dispersion. For mixtures with higher oil content or thicker formulations, we recommend testing the spray in realistic conditions.
Yes, dark glass naturally reduces light and UV transmission, which is advantageous for products with light-sensitive ingredients (such as extracts, oils or selected actives). For maximum stability, we recommend storage out of direct sunlight.
Yes, the packaging is food grade, so it is also suitable for tinctures, liquid nutritional supplements and extracts intended for internal use. We recommend that you observe hygiene when filling and carry out your own compatibility test with your chosen formulation.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before filling, the container should be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96% (denatured, vegetable), and allowed to dry completely before use.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that you recycle it. Empty the glass vial and put it in a glass container. Separate the dispenser and protective caps and sort into plastic according to local sorting rules. Separating the components will facilitate recycling and reduce the proportion of mixed waste.
