The glass bottle with spray pump represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid preparations that require gentle and even application in the form of a spray. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the functional spray mechanism, it is ideal for cosmetic, hygienic and technical formulations where an accurate dose and comfortable use are important. The dark glass also helps to limit light penetration, thus contributing to the protection of sensitive components and to longer stability of the filled product.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing reliability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, presence of alcohol, oils or active ingredients).

Yes, the bottle can, if hygienic principles are observed, be reused for the same or a similar type of product. However, before each refilling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured. In the Handymade offer you will find suitable disinfectants for packaging, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After rinsing and drying, it is recommended to carry out a sealing and spray-function test with a small amount of product.
For cleaning, we recommend first unscrewing the spray pump from the bottle, rinsing the dip tube and the spray head with warm water and spraying clean water through the mechanism several times. It is then advisable to use a small amount of disinfectant alcohol, which will help remove residues of greasy or sticky components. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly. For formulations with a higher proportion of oils, regular rinsing is important to prevent nozzle clogging.
This glass bottle with spray pump is particularly suitable for liquid products with low to medium viscosity that need to be applied in a thin layer or dispersed – for example toners, hydrolats, face refreshers, interior and textile sprays or gentle disinfectant and cleaning solutions. For very thick or highly oily formulations, spraying may be limited, so we always recommend making a trial filling and checking whether the dispensing mechanism is suitable for the specific product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend its recycling according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can, after emptying and basic rinsing, usually be placed in a container designated for glass (green or white, depending on local rules). The spray pump and plastic parts should be separated and disposed of in accordance with local guidelines for sorting plastic waste. Before recycling, make sure that no residues of hazardous or specially regulated substances remain in the packaging.
