Glass bottle with aluminum cap represents a universal and aesthetic packaging suitable for both professional and artisan filling of smaller volumes of liquid or slightly viscous products. The clear glass allows for immediate visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate when presenting the colour, clarity and consistency of the product. In combination with a high-quality metal closure, it creates a reliable container for cosmetics, laboratory solutions, essences and concentrated blends.
The packaging is suitable for filling various types of solutions, serums and tinctures where good sealing performance and packaging stability during storage and transport are important. Thanks to the durable glass, the bottle retains its shape over the long term even with repeated use and is an ideal choice for brands that place emphasis on a professional appearance, clean design and easy labelling.
The individual glass bottle with a neck according to the product parameters is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected on the product page. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before final implementation in production, we recommend testing the compatibility of the packaging with the specific formula – especially for products with a higher alcohol content, higher content of active substances or with an atypical pH.
Yes, the glass packaging can be safely reused if handled correctly. With each refilling, however, it is essential to observe basic hygiene principles – thoroughly clean the bottle and cap mechanically, rinse them and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol solution. For disinfection, we recommend using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready for refilling.
First remove any residue of the original product and rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then rinse it with clean water so that no detergent residues remain inside. After drying, disinfect the inner surface with alcohol – ideally using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act, and then leave the bottle and closure to dry completely at room temperature so that moisture does not accumulate in the packaging.
When choosing packaging, it is always important to take into account the composition of the product – in particular the content of alcohol, oils, acids, alkalis and preservatives. We recommend first preparing a smaller test batch, filling it into the bottle and monitoring the behaviour of the product and the packaging over several weeks (change in colour, odour, possible release of particles from the closure, leakage during handling, etc.). In this way, you verify real compatibility and stability before starting larger-scale production.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is appropriate to place it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. Before disposal, remove any product residues from the glass container and place it in the container intended for glass in accordance with local waste sorting rules. Sort the metal aluminum closure separately according to the local metal collection system. By following these steps, you will support efficient recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
For quick orientation, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the filter, you can easily combine several parameters – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can quickly select bottles, jars or pots that best correspond to your product and the intended dispensing method.
