The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in artisan production. High-quality glass combined with a practical dropper closure enables hygienic, drop-by-drop dispensing of the contents, which is ideal for concentrated blends, serums or extracts. The green glass also provides increased protection from light, helping to protect more sensitive components of formulations from degradation.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation. When choosing a suitable cap or dispensing component, we recommend taking into account the viscosity of the product, the method of use and the required dosing accuracy. For oil serums and concentrated active blends, the dropper is an optimal choice, as it makes it possible to apply a small amount of product in a targeted way directly onto the skin or into the palm.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and cap and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This will minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on the stability of the newly filled product.
The bottle is ideal for liquid and less viscous preparations where precise, drop-by-drop dosing is required. It is most commonly used for facial and oil serums, concentrated active boosters, essential and perfume oils, caring oil blends for nails or beard, and various herbal extracts intended for external use.
First, rinse the bottle mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water to remove residues of the previous product. After thorough rinsing, allow the packaging to dry and then disinfect it with alcohol – for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Before refilling, make sure that the bottle and dropper are clean, dry and free from residues of cleaning agents or alcohol.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and basically cleaned, is usually disposed of in the container designated for glass. The cap with dropper, which contains plastic and possibly rubber or metal parts, should be sorted according to the predominant material specified in the product parameters, or handed in at a collection point if local rules do not allow its standard sorting. Always remove any product residues before recycling so as not to contaminate other waste.
The glass bottle is a universal packaging suitable for oil-based and water-based solutions, provided they have a suitable viscosity for dosing with the dropper. With very thick formulations, dispensing may be less comfortable. For more complex or strongly acidic/alkaline formulations, we recommend performing a compatibility test before final filling – filling a smaller amount, monitoring the behaviour of the material, the sealing of the dropper and any changes over time.
