The glass bottle with a glossy dispenser represents an elegant and practical packaging solution for modern cosmetic formulations as well as professional home blending. High-quality glass combined with a design dispenser ensures precise and hygienic application, making the bottle ideal for filling liquid and lightly gel-like products. The dark glass also helps protect sensitive components from undesirable light exposure and supports the stability of the contents during storage.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly with the product. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil/water phase content, presence of acids or alcohol).

The integrated dispenser is primarily designed for liquid to medium-viscosity cosmetic products such as serums, light oils, fluids or emulsions with low to medium viscosity. For thicker formulations, we recommend performing a dosing test and, if necessary, adjusting the formula or choosing packaging with a different type of applicator to ensure smooth and comfortable application.
The glass bottle is suitable for repeated use if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimize microbiological risks and extend the shelf life of your formulations. Only after the packaging has completely dried is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it as thoroughly as possible and mechanically cleaning off any product residues. The glass itself is usually intended for sorting into the glass container according to local rules, while the dispenser (a combination of plastic and metal parts) should be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the recommendations given in the material labelling in the product parameters on the website. Recycling instructions may vary depending on the type of plastic and the local sorting system, so it is advisable to also follow the instructions of your collection system.
To reduce the risk of contamination, we recommend working with clean tools, using gloves or disinfected hands and transferring the finished product into the bottle using a disinfected pipette or funnel. It is advisable to wash the packaging before filling, then disinfect it with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %) and allow it to dry completely. After filling, close the bottle tightly with the dispenser and during use avoid touching the opening of the dispenser with contaminated surfaces.
