Before the first and every repeated filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly. We recommend washing the bottle mechanically, rinsing it well and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it with the final product.

Is it possible to use this glass bottle with spray pump safely on a repeated basis?

Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle and the spray pump as well as possible, rinse them thoroughly and disinfect them, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and ensure that the new product is not affected by residues of the previous formulation.

How can the best possible and most even spraying of the product be achieved?

For optimal spraying, we recommend using liquid formulations without solid particles or distinctly thick components that could clog the nozzle. After filling the bottle, check that the spray pump is tightly screwed on and use the first doses to vent the system. For longer-term storage, it is suitable to occasionally flush the mechanism with a small amount of clean water or alcohol in order to maintain smooth spraying.

How should the glass bottle and spray pump be correctly recycled if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be thrown into the container designated for glass after it has been emptied and rinsed. The spray pump is usually composed of several plastic components, so separate it from the glass before disposal and place it in plastic waste or mixed waste according to local sorting rules. Always follow the waste sorting system currently in force in your municipality.
