The glass bottle with green glass and a white dropper represents a professional solution for packaging cosmetic and special blends where precise, drop-by-drop application is important. High-quality glass combined with a functional dropper enables comfortable and controlled dispensing of liquid formulations, which minimizes waste and increases the hygiene standard during use.
The green glass provides the contents with enhanced protection against light, which is suitable for products that are sensitive to degradation caused by radiation. The bottle is designed to sit well in the hand and to be stable during storage and use in both home and professional settings – from smaller cosmetic batches to laboratory and artisan use.
This glass bottle with dropper is part of a system of packaging solutions that are designed on Handymade so that they can be practically combined as required by the project. The bottle itself is engineered for use with a suitable neck type and dropper, which ensures reliable sealing as well as comfort during dispensing.
The standalone bottles in the range are usually compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the specific product. The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass vial with green glass and a dropper is also suitable for formulations containing essential oils, since glass is generally resistant to commonly used aromatherapeutic components. However, we recommend always testing the specific combination of formula and packaging in a smaller trial batch in order to verify the long-term stability of the product’s scent, colour and viscosity.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then refill them, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination.
To navigate the wide range of packaging, use the advanced filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars, pots or dispensers). In the advanced filter you can conveniently select according to multiple parameters, such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. By combining filters, you can quickly narrow the selection down to only those packages that meet the requirements of your product and formulation.
The quantity and speed of dripping are mainly influenced by the viscosity of the formulation and the density of the oils or extracts used. For thicker or very thin liquids, we recommend preparing a small test batch and checking the dropper flow in practice. Depending on the outcome, you can adjust the formula (for example the ratio of oils) or choose a different type of dropper from the range that will better match the consistency of your product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and basically cleaned, should be placed in a container intended for sorted glass collection. The closure with dropper is usually composed of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), therefore it is advisable to follow the recommendation given in the “material” parameter and the local waste-sorting rules. Before handing it over for collection, we recommend removing any product residues in order to simplify subsequent processing.
