Before first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging (rinsing with a suitable detergent and clean water), then rinsing with distilled or demineralised water and finally disinfecting with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Before filling, let the bottle dry completely to minimise the risk of dilution or impact on the formulation caused by residual water.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local regulations. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle should be placed in a container designated for glass. A closure made of a different material (for example plastic or metal) is sorted separately according to the designation in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade website. By following these principles, you support the reprocessing of materials and the reduction of waste volume.
