The glass bottle represents a professional packaging suitable for various liquid and partially viscous formulations in the field of cosmetics and laboratory preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass, the bottle is stable, hygienic and suitable for long-term safe storage of the contents. The darker coloration of the glass helps protect more sensitive components from the effects of light and thus supports better stability of the final product. This type of packaging is popular for smaller doses of products, samples or concentrated solutions, where precise and reliable dispensing is important.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. They can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, making it possible to adapt the dispensing precisely to the type of formulation and the method of use. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, dosing smoothness, the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation and the long-term stability during storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly, remove residues of the original contents and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. A packaging prepared in this way is more suitable for safe reuse.
First rinse the glass bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove all residues of the original product. Then we recommend applying disinfection – ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol at the recommended concentration, such as the products available on Handymade. After disinfection, let the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature to minimise the risk of contamination of the new contents.
When choosing a closure, it is important to follow the information in the product parameters, especially the neck type and the recommended accessories. In the offer you will find screw caps, droppers, pumps and spray heads which are designed to be compatible with the given bottle. After choosing the combination, we recommend carrying out your own test – check tightness, dosing smoothness and the behaviour of the whole system with your specific formulation during normal use as well as during longer storage.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters. The glass parts of the packaging are usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while plastic or metal components of the closure need to be separated and placed in the appropriate containers according to local waste-sorting rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to minimise any content residues and to facilitate its processing in the recycling process.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can easily find a bottle, jar or other container that will best suit your product and the planned dispensing method.
