The green glass bottle with a black-gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging solution for liquid cosmetic preparations and aromatic blends. High-quality glass in a dark green shade helps to limit the penetration of light to the contents, thereby supporting better stability of light-sensitive formulations and reducing the risk of their degradation. The integrated fine sprayer allows comfortable and targeted dosing, which makes this packaging suitable for everyday use as well as for professional products.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure long-term stability and safe use of the final product.

The glass bottle with spray pump is generally suitable for formulations containing essential oils and alcohol, because glass is a stable and inert material. However, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially at higher concentrations of essential oils or alcohol – and checking the sealing, the behaviour of the sprayer and the long-term stability of the product’s scent and appearance.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example the IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % products available on Handymade (IPA 99 %, ethanol 96 %). We recommend refilling the packaging only after it has completely dried. When switching to a different type of product (for example from a perfume spray to a facial tonic), thorough degreasing and disinfection is particularly important in order to avoid affecting the fragrance or stability of the new formulation.
Before refilling, we recommend first cleaning the packaging mechanically (rinsing with warm water and a mild detergent, and, if needed, using a suitable brush to wash the inside of the bottle). It is then appropriate to disinfect the bottle and the individual parts of the spray pump with alcohol, for example using isopropyl alcohol- or ethanol-based products available on Handymade (IPA 99 %, ethanol 96 %). After disinfection, let all components dry completely at room temperature and only then refill the packaging, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and dilution of the final product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle should be placed in a container designated for glass, according to local sorting rules. The spray pump and plastic parts are usually sorted into the plastics container, and it is practical to separate them from the bottle. Specific recommendations can be found in the parameter table for the given product on Handymade, where the material composition is described in more detail. Proper sorting supports the reuse of raw materials and reduces the environmental burden.
