The glass bottle with spray attachment represents a professional packaging solution for liquid preparations where precise and gentle application in the form of a fine mist or spray is important. Thanks to the high-quality material and spray head, it is suitable for filling cosmetic formulations as well as finished products for which content stability and user comfort are crucial.
This type of packaging is designed to be stable, refillable and practical for dispensing smaller amounts of solutions, essential blends, or cleansing and treatment preparations. Glass is a long-established packaging material with excellent chemical resistance, which helps protect the product composition and minimize the risk of interactions between the contents and the packaging.
Glass bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle is suitable for repeated use when hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on the stability of the new formulation from residues of the previous product.
First, we recommend disassembling the bottle and the spray mechanism into individual parts, removing any product residues and rinsing them with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent (if it is compatible with the material used for the spray head). After mechanical cleaning, disinfection with alcohol is important – it is practical to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then reassemble and fill them with the new product.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information provided in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass container itself is typically placed in the container intended for glass (without any remaining contents), while the plastic or metal parts of the spray mechanism are sorted according to their material composition, if they can be separated. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging so that no product residues remain that could impair the quality of the recycled material.
For thicker emulsions or oil-based blends, it is important to verify that they are compatible with the specific type of spray mechanism. Products that are too viscous can impair atomization or clog the nozzle. Before final filling, we recommend carrying out a trial filling with a smaller amount, checking the spray quality, spring return and sealing. If the dispersion is unsatisfactory, it is appropriate to adjust the formula (for example by reducing viscosity) or to choose another type of dispensing attachment.
To make it easier to choose the right packaging, an advanced filter is available at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the filter, you can clearly set parameters such as neck type and diameter, overall packaging size, colour or material used. Thanks to the combination of these criteria, you can quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, vials, jars or other containers that will best match the needs of your formulation and the intended dispensing method.
