Is it possible to use this aluminium bottle with spray pump repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be reused with a suitable type of filling, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each refilling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the spray mechanism and disinfect them appropriately according to the type of product. For disinfecting the internal surface and the parts that come into contact with the formulation, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After rinsing and disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then fill them with a new product.

How should I properly clean the spray pump so that it does not clog and maintains an even spray pattern?

When cleaning the spray pump, it is advisable first to unscrew the head with the dip tube, empty any remaining contents and rinse the entire interior with a suitable solvent or warm water (depending on the type of product used). Then press the spray pump several times so that the cleaning liquid passes through the entire mechanism and removes any deposits. For formulations containing oils or plant extracts, a longer rinsing time may be necessary. After cleaning, allow all parts to air dry at room temperature and only then assemble and fill them again.

For which types of formulations is this spray pump most suitable?

The spray pump is intended primarily for low-viscosity liquids that create a fine mist or an even spray. These are mainly aqueous solutions, hydrolats, toners, deodorant sprays, light fluid preparations or cleaning solutions. Thick emulsions, gels or high-viscosity oils may not be suitable for this type of spray pump, so we always recommend performing a trial filling and testing the dosing method.

How can I correctly recycle this aluminium bottle if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. The aluminium body of the bottle is normally placed in the container designated for metal packaging, and it is advisable to empty it and remove any product residues. The plastic part of the spray pump belongs to plastic waste according to the local sorting system. Before disposal, it is practical to separate the metal and plastic parts to facilitate their processing in the recycling process.
