The glass dropper bottle with matte black dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling liquid preparations that require precise dosing. Thanks to high-quality glass and a functional dropper, it is ideal for cosmetic formulations, technical solutions and concentrated blends where controlled and hygienic drop-by-drop application is important. The dark glass also helps protect light-sensitive components and supports the stability of the contents during storage.
This type of glass bottle with dropper is part of a range of standalone packaging components that are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. The range includes, for example, screw caps, droppers, sprayers and practical applicators designed for the same neck type. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – in particular to verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle and the dropper can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene procedures are followed. Before each refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example a technical alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (ethanol 96 % denatured). Disinfection helps reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extends the usability of your formulations.
First rinse the dropper bottle with a residual medium that is compatible with the original contents (e.g. oil for oil-based blends), then wash it with warm water and a suitable detergent and rinse well. After thorough drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the dropper with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in line with the nature of the product being prepared. The disinfecting alcohol can be applied by rinsing or using a sprayer; after the alcohol has evaporated, the packaging can be refilled.
Dark glass naturally limits light penetration to the contents and is therefore often used for formulations where higher stability is important – for example for oils with a higher content of unsaturated fatty acids, serums with active ingredients or aromatic blends. Nevertheless, we recommend storing finished products in a dry, cooler and shaded place in order to maximise their shelf life.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. After rinsing out any product residues, dispose of the glass bottle in the container designated for glass. The dropper consists of a combination of materials (glass pipette, plastic and rubber parts), so it is advisable to separate the individual parts where possible and sort them in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. Always follow the recycling recommendations given in the parameter table for the specific product on Handymade.sk.
The simplest way to choose suitable packaging is to use the extended filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, a panel with filtering options appears at the top of the page, where you can select according to neck type, size, colour and packaging material. By combining these parameters, you can quickly narrow down the range to packaging options that will best match your product properties and the desired packaging style.
The dropper is ideal for concentrated and valuable preparations that are applied in small amounts – facial serums, oil elixirs, active boosters or intensive essences. It enables precise drop-by-drop dosing and minimises waste. However, if you are preparing fluid tonics, products for larger body areas or preparations intended for spraying, it may be more appropriate to choose a sprayer or a classic screw cap, depending on the character of the formulation and the method of application.
