The dark glass naturally helps protect the contents from the effects of light, making the packaging ideal for products prone to degradation during prolonged light exposure. Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for most oil-based and active serums, as well as for concentrated cosmetic preparations with a higher proportion of active ingredients. Glass is a material with good chemical stability and, thanks to the dark design, helps limit the effect of light on sensitive components. For specific or highly reactive formulations, we recommend carrying out your own long-term stability test.
The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging and the dropper must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and ventilated is the bottle ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material indicated in the product parameter table. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the dropper or cap may be made of a combination of materials (plastic, rubber or possibly metal). Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the packaging, remove any product residues and separate the individual parts according to material type in line with local waste sorting rules.

Before finally including the packaging in production, we recommend filling a small amount of product and observing the behaviour of the bottle and the dropper for several days to weeks. Focus on whether the closure seals properly, there is no leakage, a change in viscosity does not affect dosing and the dropper does not block the remaining product. At the same time, it is advisable to monitor any change in the fragrance, colour or consistency of the formulation, which would indicate undesirable interactions with the packaging.
