The glass bottle with trigger sprayer is a professional packaging material suitable for precise and comfortable dispensing of products in the form of a fine mist or spray. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the functional sprayer mechanism, it is ideal for liquid formulations that require even application to the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles.
The packaging is designed for stable and safe storage of cosmetic and technical blends, and the trigger sprayer facilitates application even with more frequent use. The carefully selected material of the bottle and the sprayer components supports protection of the composition and minimizes the risk of contamination when used correctly.
Glass bottles with a neck matching this packaging type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted changes in your formulation.
The trigger sprayer is ideal for liquid products with low to medium viscosity that need to be applied as a fine mist or spray. In practice, these include facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair tonics, air fresheners, disinfectant solutions and cleaning sprays. Thick emulsions and gels are usually not suitable for this type of dispensing, so we recommend always testing the consistency on a small sample.
Before filling the full volume, we recommend preparing a small trial batch of the product and filling one bottle with it. Then monitor the sealing of the packaging, the functionality of the sprayer, the consistency and scent of the product, as well as any colour changes or cloudiness. The test should be carried out under normal storage conditions for several days to weeks so that you can verify the behaviour of both the packaging and the formulation over time.
You can rinse the glass bottle with warm water and a mild detergent and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the bottle with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or 96 % ethanol. For the sprayer, it is important to flush the tube and mechanism with clean water and, if necessary, also with alcohol, pressing the trigger several times so that the solution reaches the entire system.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. The glass part should be emptied and, if necessary, rinsed free of product residues and placed in the container intended for glass according to local waste-sorting rules. The plastic sprayer mechanism and any other plastic components belong in the plastic waste container, unless the local collection system states otherwise. Before disposal, it is advisable to disassemble the packaging into individual materials as much as possible to facilitate their recycling.
To quickly find suitable packaging, use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can easily choose the required parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. By combining these criteria, you can select bottles, vials, jars or dispensing systems exactly according to the needs of your formulation.
