Glass bottle with straight shoulder and white spray pump offers a practical and aesthetic solution for packaging liquid preparations where gentle, even atomization is important. This type of bottle is popular for producing cosmetics, cleaning and refreshing sprays, as well as various auxiliary solutions where good protection of the contents and comfortable application to the skin, surfaces or into the air is required. Glass is a stable and inert material that minimizes the risk of undesirable interaction with the contents and helps preserve the product properties throughout the recommended shelf life.
This glass bottle with straight shoulder is designed for use with compatible closures and dosing systems available directly in the Handymade range. Within the assortment you will find several solutions that allow you to adapt the packaging to the specific product type.
The bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dosing (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. The packaging and closure combinations created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Before first use, the packaging must be mechanically cleaned (rinse with suitable clean water, optionally with a mild cleaning agent intended for laboratory or kitchen glass) and then thoroughly rinsed to ensure no cleaner residues remain. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After disinfection, allow both the bottle and the spray pump to dry completely and only then fill it with the prepared product.
The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, including when changing the product type. However, between individual uses it is essential to always carefully clean and disinfect both the bottle and the spray pump to prevent microbial contamination and undesired mixing of fragrances or active substances. We recommend a combination of thorough washing followed by disinfection with an alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant‑based ethanol. Before refilling, the packaging must be completely dry.
To maintain smooth dosing, it is advisable to use formulations without coarse solid particles that could clog the nozzle or dip tube. After prolonged use, you can rinse the spray pump with warm (but not boiling) water or a suitable solvent compatible with your product, and then spray through until the spray pattern becomes even again. When transporting, it is recommended to use a locking device or protective cap, if included with the specific type of spray pump, to avoid unintentional activation and mechanical damage to the nozzle.

This makes it easy to find combinations of glass containers and compatible closures or dispensers that best match your formulation and the visual style of your brand.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it as thoroughly as possible and disposing of any product residues in accordance with local regulations. After removing residual contents, the glass bottle can be placed in separated glass collection according to local rules, which should be based on the material information in the product parameters. The plastic spray pump (which contains several plastic and metal parts) is usually sorted according to the main plastic type, or it may be appropriate to follow the recommendations of the local collection system. Before placing in the container, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the components to minimize residues of active substances in the waste.
