Before each refilling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and airing is the packaging ready for further safe use.

After emptying the bottle, it is advisable to rinse the spray pump with lukewarm water, or with a mild cleaning solution that is compatible with the raw materials used. We then recommend actuating the mechanism several times so that the internal channels are flushed and any residues of the original product are removed. Disinfection can be ensured by short-term contact with a suitable alcohol solution followed by rinsing again. It is important not to overload the spray pump with mixtures that are too thick or highly viscous, as these may clog the nozzle.

The bottle with spray pump is most suitable for low to medium viscosity liquid formulations that should be applied in the form of a fine spray. These are mainly facial and body waters, refreshing and aromatic mists, hair treatment solutions, light styling products or room and fabric sprays. For formulations containing oils or active substances it is necessary to verify whether the final viscosity and composition will not affect the proper function of the spray pump.

When filling the glass bottle, it is advisable to work on a stable, clean and flat surface, to use a funnel or suitable filling tools and to avoid strong impacts or overtightening the closure. It is also recommended not to work above a hard floor without protective underlay. For storage it is ideal to place the bottles vertically, in a dry and clean environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This extends the service life of both the packaging and the product inside.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first emptying it and removing any residue of the contents. The glass part of the bottle can then be placed in the relevant glass collection container according to local waste separation rules. The plastic components of the spray pump (overcap, mechanism body, tube) should be separated and disposed of in the container intended for plastic waste, if the local collection system allows this.
