The glass bottle with nasal spray applicator represents a professional packaging suitable for targeted dosing of liquid preparations intended for application into the nose. High‑quality glass in combination with a precise sprayer helps maintain the stability of the contents and ensures comfortable, hygienic use with every press. Thanks to the durable material, the bottle is suitable for formulations that require reliable protection against external influences and controlled dosing in the form of a fine mist.
This product is supplied as a combination of glass bottle and nasal spray closure. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The nasal sprayer is designed primarily for aqueous and low‑viscosity solutions, for which it can produce a fine mist. With thicker solutions or oil‑based formulations, spray performance may be reduced or clogging may occur. Before final filling, we recommend performing your own dosing test on a small sample to verify smooth use with your specific formula.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the nasal applicator must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after complete drying and airing is the packaging ready for refilling.
Before disinfection, we recommend carefully rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave a film or strong odour. It should then be rinsed several times with clean water to remove any detergent residues. The applicator should preferably be rinsed separately, with gentle pumping so that the cleaning solution passes through the entire mechanism. After mechanical cleaning, disinfection follows, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and thorough drying in a clean, dust‑free place.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle, free from product residues, should be placed in a container intended for separated glass collection. Plastic and metal parts of the sprayer (if present) should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic and metal collection. Always follow the recycling instructions in your municipality and the information in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website so that sorting is as accurate as possible.

By combining these filters, you will quickly find bottles, jars, pots or other containers that best match your specific formulation and method of use.
