The glass bottle with a straight top and smooth white cap with reducer represents a reliable packaging for various liquid and lightly viscous preparations. Thanks to the high‑quality glass processing and precise closure, it is suitable for filling cosmetic formulations, concentrated blends and products where controlled dosing is important. The reducer in the cap enables easier and cleaner use of the contents, which you will appreciate in everyday application as well as in professional dispensing.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, according to the parameters selected in the e‑shop. You can combine it with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, which makes it possible to adapt the packaging to the specific product type and the desired method of application.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, acidity or alkalinity, presence of essential oils, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle is suitable for a wide range of liquid and lightly viscous preparations, including oil‑based and slightly thicker blends. For very thick emulsions or gels, we always recommend testing the chosen dosing method (for example through the reducer or another applicator) so that you can be sure the product will dispense smoothly and without clogging.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused provided that hygiene rules are followed. Before each refilling, we recommend cleaning the packaging thoroughly and then disinfecting it, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of your product.
First remove any residues of the original contents, then mechanically wash the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. After rinsing, let it drain and dry thoroughly. Before refilling, disinfect it using alcohol (for example products available on Handymade) and allow it to air so that the alcohol evaporates. For smaller openings, using a small brush or rinsing with several portions of disinfectant solution will help.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, and the cap and any plastic parts should be separated and disposed of in the appropriate sorted waste according to the material. Before recycling, remove product residues so that the packaging does not unnecessarily burden the recycling process.

Using the filter, you can easily select suitable packaging according to neck type, size, colour or material. We recommend starting by defining the required material (glass, plastic), then choosing the thread/neck type and only afterwards adjusting the volume and colour variant according to the character of your product and the intended method of application.
