The spray mechanism is optimized primarily for thin and medium-viscosity liquids, such as hydrolats, toners, light lotions, alcoholic and aqueous solutions. For thick emulsions, gel formulations or oils with higher viscosity, we recommend carrying out a trial dosing before filling, in order to verify the smoothness of spraying and, if necessary, adjust the composition so that the spray system works reliably.

The bottle and the sprayer can be reused with gentle handling, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using technical IPA alcohol or ethanol, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to refill it with a new product.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted collection according to the material stated in the product parameters. In most cases, the glass part of the bottle can be placed in the container intended for glass once it has been freed from product residues. The spray mechanism is usually a combination of plastic and metal parts, and it is advisable to follow local waste sorting rules – if the recycling instructions do not allow disassembly and sorting of the individual components, dispose of it in mixed waste. Before disposal, it is always advisable to use up the contents completely or safely dispose of any residues according to the nature of the blend used.

You can prevent the sprayer from clogging by not adding insoluble particles, overly thick components or raw materials that tend to crystallize around the nozzle area to your blend. For formulations containing hydrolats, essential oils or preservatives, it is advisable to regularly check the condition of the sprayer orifice and, if necessary, gently rinse it with warm water. During production, we recommend filtering the contents through a fine sieve or filter paper before filling, in order to minimize the occurrence of small particles that could gradually clog the mechanism.
