The glass bottle with a white-gold sprayer represents an elegant and functional packaging solution for various liquid formulations, especially gentle cosmetic products that require even application in the form of a mist. The combination of clear glass and an aesthetic sprayer creates a professional impression and allows visual control of the contents, which you will appreciate in both artisanal and semi-professional production. This packaging is designed to provide stable, repeatable dosing and comfort during everyday use when handled correctly.
This glass bottle with sprayer is supplied as a functional unit – the container and dispensing element are already matched to each other. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your final product will function reliably throughout its entire period of use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is generally very suitable for formulations containing essential oils, because glass is one of the stable and chemically resistant materials. However, when designing the formula, we recommend testing the final blend in the packaging in a smaller amount and monitoring its behaviour over time, in particular the viscosity, any sedimentation or changes in colour. It is also important to adjust the concentration of essential oils to the recommendations for the given type of product and the intended use.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which are available in the Handymade range. Then allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature, and only then refill them with a new product.
Before re-use, first rinse out as much of the residues of the original product as possible with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with your formulation. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Pour an appropriate amount of alcohol into the inside of the bottle, shake well and let some pass through the sprayer so that the inner channel is also disinfected. After disinfection, allow all parts to air out and dry thoroughly, preferably at room temperature, until the smell of alcohol has disappeared.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters for this packaging. The glass bottle can usually be placed, after removal of any product residues, in the appropriate glass container. The sprayer, as a combined plastic-metal element, generally belongs in mixed waste, unless otherwise stated in the product parameters. Before handing over to sorted collection, we recommend rinsing the packaging to remove product residues in order to facilitate the recycling process.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or pot, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the filter you simply choose the parameters that are key for your product – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer only to packaging that meets your technical and design requirements and to better assess which packaging is most suitable for your formulation.
