The glass bottle made of blue glass with a white-gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging solution for cosmetic and aromatherapeutic preparations where precise and hygienic application in the form of a fine mist is important. Thanks to the high-quality glass and practical spray pump, the packaging is suitable for filling various liquid formulations that require even dispersion on the skin, hair or into the surroundings. The bottle is designed to support the professional appearance of the finished product while at the same time making dosing easier for the end user.
Glass bottles, which are sold separately or in combination with dispensing components, are designed on Handymade to offer a practical and reliable solution for various types of formulations. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging functions optimally with your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can adjust the display according to parameters such as neck finish, size, colour and material, which enables you to quickly find the bottle, pharmaceutical bottle or jar that best matches your formulation and desired design.
Yes, the glass packaging can, if hygiene principles are observed, be safely reused. Before each refill, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump mechanically and then disinfecting them with an appropriate alcohol-based preparation. For disinfecting the packaging, you can for example use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for being refilled with a new cosmetic formulation.
Before the first filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle, removing any dust contamination and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol. Afterwards, it is advisable to let the packaging dry naturally in a clean environment. The spray pump is usually not boiled; it is recommended to rinse it through with a suitable medium and disinfect it as needed in such a way that the internal parts are not damaged. Following this procedure will support the hygiene of the finished product and the long-term functionality of the spray mechanism.
The spray pump is ideal for low-viscosity liquid products that create a fine mist – for example facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair tonics, air fresheners and aromatherapeutic blends. With thicker emulsions or oil serums, atomization may be impaired, so it is advisable to test the behaviour of the specific formulation with this type of dispensing in advance.
We recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry and cooler place, protected from direct sunlight and sudden temperature fluctuations. Stable conditions help preserve the properties of the active substances and the fragrance and at the same time prolong the overall shelf life of the product. When storing, make sure that the spray pump is always tightly closed and that the packaging is not exposed to mechanical damage.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend cleaning it of any product residues and recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be taken to glass recycling, while the plastic and metal parts of the spray pump belong to mixed waste or to separated plastics in accordance with local rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to separate the individual components where possible, thereby contributing to more efficient recovery of the materials.
