Yes, the glass bottle as well as the spray pump can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and subsequently disinfecting it with a suitable preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the bottle ready to be refilled.

We recommend rinsing the spray pump with warm (not boiling) water, possibly with a mild neutral cleaning agent, and then thoroughly pumping clean water through it in order to flush all channels. After rinsing, you can disinfect the internal parts with alcohol, which you let evaporate freely. Avoid mechanically disassembling the head of the spray pump so that the delicate mechanism is not damaged and the spray quality is not worsened.

The glass bottle is in general also suitable for products containing essential oils and fragrance components, since glass is resistant to them and chemically stable. However, with a higher proportion of oils or alcohol we always recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formulation with the spray pump used – attention should be paid in particular to the quality of the spray, sealing and the long-term behaviour of the plastic parts in contact with the product. A small test batch will help you verify whether the combination of packaging and composition works optimally.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. The glass bottle can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in a container intended for glass. The plastic parts of the spray pump should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic waste. Before disposal, make sure that the container is free of product residues to facilitate the recycling process and minimize the impact on the environment.
