However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, consistency and dosing, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (watery solutions, emulsions, preparations containing oils or alcohol). When designing the final product, we recommend verifying:

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Can the glass bottle with sprayer be reused?

Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant ethanol. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your product.

Which types of products are most suitable for this packaging?

The bottle with sprayer is ideal for watery and low-viscosity formulations such as face and floral waters, refreshing face sprays, hair mists, aromatherapeutic blends for rooms or mild disinfectant solutions. We always recommend testing the viscosity and behaviour of the product in combination with the sprayer so that the spraying is even and without clogging.

How should the packaging be properly cleaned and disinfected before refilling?

First, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the sprayer component – rinsing them with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly removing residues of the original product. Then it is advisable to rinse the packaging with clean water and, after drying, disinfect it with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % or 96 % plant ethanol. After the alcohol has evaporated, the bottle can be refilled. For the sprayer, we recommend pressing the mechanism several times with the disinfectant solution so that the inner capillary is also cleaned.

How should the packaging be correctly recycled if I no longer want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material of the individual parts. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle should be placed in the container designated for glass. The plastic sprayer and any other plastic components must be separated and sorted into the appropriate plastic container, unless local collection rules stipulate otherwise. Specific recommendations on recycling can always be found in the parameter table of the given product in the e-shop, where the type of material and the corresponding marking are specified.
