White Plastic Bottle, White Spray, 50 ml

This is a ready-made set Plastic bottle, vial, white, with white spray mister, 50 ml, intended for thin, sprayable cosmetic liquids applied as a fine mist: facial and body toners, hydrolats, refreshing mists or hair sprays. The bottle is made of PET, the sprayer of PP with a transparent dip tube.

The white opaque plastic reduces light exposure of the contents, which you will appreciate with hydrolats, toners with vitamins or other ingredients that do not benefit from light. The bottle is light and unbreakable, so the small format fits in a handbag, for travel, to the gym or as a sample for customers. The sprayer screws onto the bottle easily and dispenses a small amount with each press, so the contents are applied evenly and without waste.

Suitable for products such as

• Facial and body toners – fat-free aqueous solutions pass through the sprayer without problems and create a fine mist that does not need to be rubbed into the skin.
• Hydrolats and floral waters – the opaque packaging protects them from light and the sprayer allows application without the fingers touching the contents.
• Refreshing and setting mists – light aqueous or water-alcohol solutions with glycerin, aloe or a low proportion of solubilized essential oils.
• Hair sprays – sprays for detangling, toning or refreshing hair with low viscosity.
• Hand sanitizing sprays – water-alcohol solutions; we recommend verifying the suitability of a specific formulation in the finished product.

How to fill and use the set

When filling, it is good to distinguish between the nominal and total volume. The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended for under normal filling. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is somewhat larger. The difference forms a reserve for the sprayer's dip tube, for the air above the liquid level and for expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Therefore it is filled up to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Otherwise the contents will overflow once the sprayer is screwed on.

The sprayer is intended for liquids with low viscosity. Thick serums, milks, emulsions and pure oils either will not pass through it or come out in a stream instead of a mist and the nozzle clogs. If the formulation contains gel-forming ingredients or a higher proportion of glycerin, we recommend testing the sprayability in advance on a small amount.

What is good to know

Preparation before first filling. We recommend rinsing the bottle and sprayer before use, disinfecting them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and letting them dry completely. You rinse the sprayer by immersing it in the disinfecting solution and spraying it through several times.

Repeated use. The set withstands repeated filling if it is thoroughly cleaned between refills. You clean the sprayer by spraying clean water through it and then alcohol. When changing the type of contents, for example from a fragrance spray to a toner, expect that fragrance residues will not be completely removed from the plastic.

Contact with cosmetics and food. The bottle and the sprayer are declared as suitable for use with cosmetic products, and the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics. A certificate for direct contact with food is held separately only by the bottle. The sprayer does not have one, therefore the set is not intended for food use.

Temperature. The bottle is not intended for hot filling. Let the contents cool to room temperature before filling and protect the filled set from heat and direct sunlight.

Label. The cylindrical shape of the vial allows a label to be applied around the entire circumference.

Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and the sprayer of PP. When disposing of them, unscrew them from each other and discard them into sorted plastic waste.
