Sorbitol is an emulsifier that occurs naturally in fruit. It is a sugar alcohol that is used mainly in the food industry as a sugar substitute or as an additive in toothpastes.

Sorbitol is an excellent thickening agent that provides the required viscosity and consistency for cosmetic products. It is also considered an excellent humectant, especially for the skin and hair. You can add it to body creams, hair products or face masks.

It is added to the oil phase during the production of cosmetic products.

Recommended dosage: 0,5 - 15 %
Solution pH: 6-7
